Spiced Pear Chia Oatmeal

Serves 1
Ingredients
½ cup gluten-free rolled oats
1 tsp chia seeds
Generous pinch of cardamon
½ cup milk of choice
½ cup of water
1 pear cut into quarters
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch ginger
Pinch nutmeg
Optional: 1 tsp crunchy organic peanut butter
Optional: 1 tbsp LSA (ground linseed, sunflower seeds, almonds)
Optional: drizzle of maple syrup to serve
Method
Add oats, chia seeds, cardamon, water + milk to a saucepan. Cook over low-medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring until creamy.
In a separate small saucepan, add the pear with 1/4 cup of water, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Simmer gently for 10 minutes until soft and fragrant.
