Dutch for: feed, nourish, nurture, educate, fuel, eat
Voeden is founded and run by Clinical Nutritionist Cassandra van Dorp, with the purpose of inspiring, nurturing, and empowering women to reconnect with their bodies and gain a deeper understanding of their health through a holistic lens.
Her work goes beyond what’s on the plate. It considers the whole woman - her nervous system, hormones, digestion, lifestyle, history, and the way she feels within herself. Because true health isn’t created through food alone, but through the relationship we have with our body as a whole.
Cassandra is deeply passionate about guiding women back into connection. In a world that often teaches women to override their bodies, to ignore hunger, push through exhaustion, and mistrust their signals, her work is about coming back. Back into trust. Back into safety. Back into a way of living that feels supportive rather than restrictive. At the heart of her approach is the belief that when a woman feels safe in her body again, everything begins to shift. Food is no longer a source of stress or control, but something that nourishes and supports. From this place, women are able to make more intuitive, aligned choices that support their long-term health.
Approach
Cassandra’s approach blends evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle practices with emotional wellbeing, nervous system support, and grounded education.
She works with women to:
-
Heal their relationship with food and their body
-
Understand their symptoms as communication, not something to ignore. And getting to the root cause of health issues and concerns
-
Support their hormones and work with their cycle
-
Build strong foundations of health through nutrition and lifestyle
-
Create sustainable, long-term change without pressure or perfection
Rather than quick fixes, her work focuses on addressing the root cause of symptoms and equipping women with the knowledge and tools to support themselves for life.
Philosophy
Cassandra believes that every woman has the ability to feel at home in her body.
Her work is designed for women who are ready to:
-
Move away from restriction, guilt, and confusion around food
-
Feel more connected, confident, and at ease within themselves
-
Create consistent, supportive rhythms that honour their body
-
Improve their energy, digestion, hormones, and overall wellbeing
Through gentle guidance and education, clients learn how to nourish themselves in a way that feels both supportive and sustainable. They begin to understand their body, trust its signals, and respond with care rather than control.
Education & Foundation
Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science, which she uses to guide women in alignment with their physiology, while maintaining a deeply holistic and compassionate approach to health.
Her work bridges science and intuition, combining clinical knowledge with a grounded, human approach that recognises that health is not just physical, but emotional and behavioural too.
The Outcome
When women begin to reconnect with their bodies, the shifts go far beyond food.
Energy improves.
Symptoms begin to settle.
Confidence grows.
And a sense of ease and joy starts to return.
Because this work isn’t just about nutrition, it’s about helping women build a healthier, kinder, and more supportive relationship with themselves.
The Consultations
Each session is designed to feel like a nourishing, supported experience. One where the client feels seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. The focus is to create connection and really understand the client: open hearts, open conversations, and a sense of being held through every step of the way. The consults are designed in a way for Cassandra to really understand what is going on with the client, from the various body systems right down to the clients favourite foods and least confident body parts, so the most effective treatment plan can be created for the client. Each consult is gentle, safe, educational, inspiring, and deeply nourishing. And clients can leave knowing they have invested in something truly valuable.
