(Makes 6)
Ingredients:
  • 6 large fresh dates, pitted
  • 3 teaspoons natural peanut butter (or almond/cashew butter)
  • Dark chocolate (dairy-free if preferred)
  • Optional: pinch of dried rose petals or crushed nuts for garnish

Instructions:
  1. Slice each date lengthwise without cutting all the way through to create a pocket.
  2. Spoon ½ teaspoon of peanut butter into each date.
  3. Gently press the sides of each date together to form a heart shape.
  4. Melt and stir until chocolate is smooth and lump free.
  5. Dip each peanut butter-filled date into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
  6. Optional garnish: While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle on rose petals or crushed nuts.
  7. Place the dipped dates on a tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate sets.
