Dairy and Gluten free Hazelnut Shortbreads

Ingredients
1 cup hazelnut meal
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup coconut oil melted
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
Pinch sea salt
Optional, but takes these cookies to next level:
Zest of one orange
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon
Melted carob chocolate (I love using The Carob Kitchen - clean, simple ingredients)

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 165°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix together all ingredients. Roll out dough and cut out shapes and bake for 12-15minutes. Let cool completely and then dip in melted carob chocolate, and let harden.
