Winters End Tea

When transitioning from winter to spring, both our digestion and immunity need extra care. This golden tea does the trick.
Quantity: Makes 3 cups
Ingredients
1 inch fresh ginger root, sliced
½ teaspoon fennel seeds
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
½ teaspoon coriander seeds
½ teaspoon ground turmeric
1 small cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon dried tulsi (holy basil) or 1 tulsi tea bag
Raw honey, to taste (optional)
Optional: Dried flowers for aesthetics :)
Directions
Bring 4½ cups of water to a gentle boil.
Add ginger, fennel, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cinnamon to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer for 7–10 minutes, covered.
Remove from heat, add tulsi, and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain into your favourite mug and add optional honey if desired. Enjoy x
